Austin St. John was born on September 17th, 1975 in Roswell, New Mexico by his parents Steve and Sharon St. John, becoming brother to Stephen. Austin has been practicing martial arts since he was five and now holds a second degree black belt in Tae-Kwon Do, a first degree black belt in Judo and also practices Shenkito and Kenpo. He has spent a lot of time moving from town to town with his dad, a Marine and has also dreamed of playing pro-baseball for the Boston Red Sox. His Best School Subject is Political Science, however, his worst is Math. His dream vehicle is a Harley Davidson softtail. Austin's favorite food is Sushi and his favorite style of music is Rock and Roll with an ever growing interest in Hip Hop. His favorite superhero is Superman. Besides baseball, his favorite sports are Football, Soccer and Hiking. Currently, is favorite colors are Black for cars and Black and White for clothes. Austin is of German, American Indian, Irish, Japanese, Italian, Spanish descent and speaks 4 languages - English, Spanish, Italian and Korean with varying degrees of fluency. He began studying martial arts at the age of 5 with his father and claims that "it's a way of life, I don't do it for sport or hobby." Austin, who is a real life martial arts expert, has studied Tae-Kwondo, Shenkito, Judo, Kenpo, Newaza, Kung Fu, Tang-su-do, Shoto-kahn Chinese Kick Boxing, Kick Boxing and Boxing. Tae-kwondo is his favorite style, but he feel's one should study as many arts as possible in order to become well rounded. The more knowledge one gains the wiser and more prepared one becomes for anything anyone may throw your way in life." Austin feels that martial arts has helped him prepare for every major event that he has had to overcome or adapt to throughout his life. He say's "there is a great deal of mystery and mystique in martial arts. Aside from the physical demands, it also allows me to develop inner strength and discipline which, in turn, builds character." It has saved Austin's life on several occasions as he struggled for survival in the tough getto neighborhoods, through out his early teenage years.
